Founded in 1973, the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) is a non-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of Oregonians through philanthropy. Gifts to the OCF are channeled via grants to a variety of community-based non-profits around the state. In reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, they set-up a specific fund in April 2020, The Oregon Community Recovery Fund, to deploy funds to organizations on the front lines of dealing with the pandemic. As of August 2020, donors have contributed over $18 million and OCF has put those funds to work via donations to over 300 organizations.
